Assiut University participates in the proceedings of the Second World Forum on Higher Education and Scientific Research

Assiut University participated in the proceedings of the second World Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the General Conference of the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), which was honored in the presence of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and a group of Egyptian government ministers as well as Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) from December 8 to 10 in the administrative capital.
The university delegation participating in the work of the forum was led by Professor Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, and included Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Affairs and Research, as well as 11 deans of colleges at the university, led by Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and a number of faculty members of various colleges, as well as about 150 students from the university who study in various theoretical and practical colleges.

It is worth mentioning that the forum discusses the role of higher education institutions in preparing and qualifying students and young researchers for future jobs and the needs of the local and international labor market in light of the rapid changes in employment skills, the most important of which is the future of work, the preparation and qualification of students and young researchers for future jobs, the needs of local and international labor markets in light of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, rapid changes in employment skills and demand for the labor market, digital transformation as the forum includes the establishment of a series of activities and activities, in Photo meetings, seminars, workshops, panel discussions and scientific lectures by experts from academics, professionals and representatives of international organizations, businessmen and youth, in addition to an exhibition featuring many pavilions for participants from various public, private and international universities, technological companies specializing in education and scientific research, international organizations, and funding destinations, stressing the importance of the second edition of the forum, which coincides this year with Egypt hosting the work of the fourteenth session of the General Conference of the Organization of  Isisco
