The Faculty of Arts holds the fourteenth media festival for student graduation projects "Towards Building Media"

The Faculty of Arts celebrated today the fourteenth Media Festival for Graduation Projects for the Students of the Department of Media under the title "Towards Constructive Media", in the eight hall of the administrative building of the University under the patronage and presence of Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Khaled Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Maati, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhli, Acting Head of the Media Department, Dr. Noha Abdel Aziz, Head of the Department of French Language, Dr. Omaima Omran, Professor at the Department of Media, and a constellation of faculty members at the University and the Department of Media and its students.
During his speech, Dr. Tariq Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, pointed to the importance of the media and its meaningful role in discussing the issues of the homeland and addressing important topics and conveying events, explaining that the media is the tool that confronts sedition and conspiracies, stressing that the university administration is doing its best to provide all means of support and care to its students.
Dr. Shehata Gharib also gave interesting speeches in which he pointed out the need to be aware of societal problems by creating a new generation of distinguished media professionals, which is the role entrusted to him by the Department of Media at the Faculty of Arts, which always seeks to raise the efficiency of the educational service and qualify students to keep pace with the global media challenges and the labor market.
For his part, Dr. Magdy Alwan praised the importance of the media in consolidating the rules of the state and building a conscious society open to all countries of the world to benefit from all scientific developments in various fields, especially in the era of digital media, which is what the Faculty of Arts is trying to do.
Always provide it to its students in the Department of Media and provide them with all the educational means and training in light of the full support of the university administration and provide all means of support and care for its students children.
During the ceremony, a short film was reviewed on the production of student projects, which included 14 radio projects, 20 journalism projects, 14 public relations projects, and the topics of projects are taught on community issues and discuss the social problems of the community, and the winning projects were honored with the first places.
