Assiut University wins a number of gold, silver and bronze medals during its participation in the activities of the African University Youth Week in Aswan

Assiut University President, Prof.Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, expressed his delight at the success of the University in winning several advanced places during its participation in the activities of the first week of African Universities Youth held in Aswan from 19 to 25 October in the framework of the declaration of Aswan as the capital of African Youth by the President of the Republic. This event is organized by Aswan University under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and the presidency of Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University with the participation of 21 international universities and 20 Egyptian universities. The President of Assiut University revealed that the university's participation came with a student delegation comprising 15 male and female students. In this regard, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, announced the university's success in winning the first place and a gold medal in beach volleyball, a silver medal in the field of science fiction, a silver medal in singing, and a bronze medal in plastic arts.
