In collaboration with the Diabetes and Endocrinology Unit at Assiut University, the South Egyptian Association for Diabetes and Endocrinology launches the International Day of thyroid gland in the presence of a group of professors

Prof.Dr. Ahmed Al-Menshawi, Vice-President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, stressed the keenness of the university administration under the leadership of Prof.Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, President of the University, to upgrade the medical system in its university hospitals, which plays a vital role in the field of education and dissemination of scientific knowledge to young doctors as well as its role in providing medical and treatment services for all patients. This came during his participation in the launch of the symposium of the World Day for Awareness of thyroid gland, organized by the Southern Association of Diabetes and Endocrinology jointly with the unit of sugar and endocrinology Department of Internal Medicine at the University, which coincides with the celebration in May each year.
