Tariq El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, announced that today, Sunday, April 10, 2022, Assiut University will celebrate the anniversary of the victory of the tenth of Ramadan, “October Restoration of Dignity,” which is organized by the family of Students for Egypt in cooperation with the University Students Union, which is scheduled to witness the attendance of Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, the leaders of the Southern Military District, members of the House of Representatives, Senate, Islamic and Christian clerics, and members of the university family, including faculty members, staff and students.

Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and the supervisor of the ceremony, stated that the ceremony comes within the framework of the university's keenness to enhance the spirit of national belonging among the youth and to evoke the memory of national epics and landmark events in the history of the country, in order to raise the awareness of new generations about them and consolidate feelings of pride in their homeland .

Dr. Shehata Ghareeb added that the ceremony is scheduled to include honoring 25 valiant armed forces officers and soldiers in the southern military region, emphasizing the role of the armed forces in defending and protecting the homeland with the participation of the pride of Damascene singing, the Abu Shaar Brothers Band for Religious Chanting.
