Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, Vice-President for Research and Graduate Studies, received a delegation comprising professors from the Italian and Romanian universities to hold a meeting of the European Union project (Erasmus Plus) seeking to develop higher education in the fields of medicine and nursing, in the presence of representatives of the participating universities in the project, which includes a delegation from Assiut University and Alexandria University. Regarding the details of the project, Dr. Mustafa Hamad stated that the meeting comes within the framework of the university’s endeavor to develop higher education in the field of medicine and nursing, through the project of developing postgraduate studies at the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing that had been approved in the beginning of 2018 and funded with the contribution of the European Union. He added that the visit of the delegation extended over a period of two days, during which they discussed the amendment of the scientific regulations for the master’s degrees of the departments of internal nursing and critical cases nursing for the three nursing faculties (Assiut - Alexandria - Menofia) participating in the project. Furthermore, they discussed information on the projects, their procedures, activities, ways of management (implementation and follow-up), objectives in the future, and global mechanisms of teaching health sciences through the project.
