Assiut University Council, in its last session chaired by Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, approved the appointment of 6 new assistant professors in a number of university faculties, which stipulated in the Faculty of Social Work the appointment of 3 assistant professors, they are Dr. Asmaa Gamal Abellah Abozaid, Dr. Alaa Salah Fawzy Kilany at the community service department and Dr. Jaber Fawzy Mohamed Hassan at the department of Department of areas of social service.

The decisions in the College of Pharmacy also included the approval of the appointment of Dr. Nesma Mustafa Muhammad Kamal Muhammad in the Department of Pharmacology, and in the Faculty of Science the appointment of Dr. Sarah Salah Abdel Hakim Abdul Rahim in the Department of Zoology and Entomology, in addition to the appointment of Dr. Marwa Talaat Kamel Refaat in the Department of Fruits at the Faculty of Agriculture.
