Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, revealed the inauguration of the new headquarters of the dialysis unit at the main university hospital in the presence of Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Assiut University Hospitals, and Dr. Ehab Fawzy, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Alaa Abdel Moneim, Director of the Main University Hospital, and Dr. Effat Abdel Hadi, Head of the Unit.

Dr. Alaa Attia pointed out that the new headquarters of the dialysis unit, which covers an area of ​​1,500 square meters, has a capacity of 75 beds, is equipped with the latest dialysis devices and an intensive care unit, with spaces that maintain privacy among patients, and is equipped with the latest medical devices.

Dr. Effat Abdel-Hadi explained that the new dialysis unit is the first unit at the level of Egyptian university hospitals to implement the central mixing treatment system to serve patients 24 hours a day.
