Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser, Dean of Institute, received members of the National Accreditation Council “EGAC”, which includes Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Kilani, head of the accreditation team at the National Accreditation Council, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moneim, the technical evaluator of the team. During the meeting, Her Excellency clarified that the purpose of the visit is to evaluate and inspect all the technical capabilities, material and human resources of the various laboratories within the Institute, in preparation for their accreditation in accordance with the international specifications ISO 17025 for laboratories. As well as conducting an inspection tour of the new headquarters of the Institute within the new research centers to see the latest development work. For his part, the head of the accreditation team praised the university’s laboratories with advanced capabilities and equipment in all fields, which are comparable in efficiency to various scientific and research laboratories inside and outside Egypt.
