Assiut university has a diversity of programs that related to the environments in group of its faculties including Faculty of Pharmacy, Nursing and Faculty of Sauger Technology both in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In the meantime, the center of research and study of environment in the University conducting a group of seminaries and community awareness campaigns about climate changes and how we can preserve (website attached). The university had started to implement a climate action plan (attached in Arabic) stands on many pilers including clean and renewable energy consumption, Low CO2 emission, go green and fighting smoking. The university succeeded to decrease its CO2 emission by 50% in the last 3 years (attached report). We also participate in the national program for climate preservation and control through events held in AU venues.
