Educational Outcomes for Assiut University for 2020/2021

•    In the academic year 2020/2021, Assiut University had 8494 graduates. Between those graduates, 3763 are schoolteachers. Meanwhile, Adult Education Center was able to educate reading and writing for 2681 adult illiterate persons in 2020 and 11246 adult illiterate persons in 2021.

•    The Faculty of Education, Faculty of Specific Education, Faculty of Physical Education, and Faculty of Early Childhood Education were able to train (6362   ) students at those Faculties in different schools at Assiut Governorate ( 258  ). This training process was conducted in the presence of (5754) school students while supervised by staff members from those Faculties ( 291 ).

•      Assiut University Network Center was able to train 121 groups (2168 persons, some of them were students, staff members, administrative assistants, and graduates) on International Computer Driving License (ICDL). The center held 14730 ICDL tests.

•    Education Enhancement Center held 20 courses covering academic English, Digital Transformation, and IC3. The trainees were University’s staff members, graduates, and students.

•    English Language Center held 79 courses for students, staff members, and graduates (a total of 2876 persons) as well as holding 523 tests for determining the language level of the targeted trainees. Similarly, The French Language Center held 33 courses to prepare trainees on the A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels, as well as vocal courses for 807 students and staff members. In the same Vein, The German Language Center held four courses, especially for Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering Students and staff members (total number is 109 persons). Meanwhile, 19 groups (405 persons) were trained (8 of them with ZOOM) for translation and three German levels (A1, A2, and B1).

•    The General Service Unit at the Faculty of Education held 23 courses about different aspects (e.g., How to teach Mathematics in English, How to teach Science in English, and Arabic language courses for non-native speakers).

•    Measurement and Evaluation Center trained 87 staff members and 36 employees about writing reports, autocorrection, the certified trainer, and scientific content analysis).

•    Molecular biology research held four workshops for 72 students and staff members.    

•    The Anti-Violence and Discrimination Unit held 32 events and activities, as well as 14 workshops. The targeted population for these activities and workshops were the University’s students (males and females), school pupils, children with special needs and other community members.

•    The Faculty of Social Work held 17 workshops for 643 persons from different social sectors.

•    Faculty of Agriculture held 11 workshops for 337 graduates. 

•    Assiut University Hospitals held 21 workshops about infection control and Consciousness-raising.

•    Assiut University held 34 conferences, 41 Seminars, and 57 workshops. These events covered different fields (e.g.,  medical, engineering, educational, agricultural, social, commercial, and legal).
