An inspection tour of Prof. Dr. Minshawi in the old campus to follow up the progress of the educational process and stand on the actual needs of the building
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, President of the University, conducted an inspection tour of the old campus in Walidiya, to follow up on the progress of the educational process, and to identify the actual needs of the building, from renovation and development work, to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and they were received by Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Khaled Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hamed Mashhour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhli, Media Advisor to the President of the University.
His Excellency the President of the University stressed the university's keenness to harness its capabilities to serve students, provide a suitable study environment to help them excel, and provide all means of support and care provided by the university.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi praised the archaeological value of the old campus, and its distinguished and ancient urban design, which the university administration pays special attention and attention to preserving the archaeological and urban value of the place, while developing its units and centers specialized in various research and linguistic fields, which is one of the centers of strength of Assiut University, with its scientific and training services to students and researchers from inside and outside the university.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim added that the tour of the President of the University included his inspection of the surroundings of the campus, including the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Sugar Industry Technology, as well as his inspection of the VIP lounge, the Center for Future Studies, and language centers, which include the Arabic, French, and German Language Center, as well as the Translation Center, and the tour also included his inspection of the faculty's radio and television studio, and the press equipment unit.
During his tour, the President was accompanied by a number of heads of departments, faculty members and administrators at the college, namely: Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Moaty, Dr. Noha Abdel Aziz, Dr. Hanan Abbas, Dr. Khaled Badra, Dr. Sherine Abdel Ghaffar, Mrs. Sahar Mohamed, Secretary General of the Faculty, and a number of members of the administrative staff of the Faculty.
