Continuing the tradition of dedication and excellence in the scientific research journey at the Faculty of Arts, and under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawi, President of the University, Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the college hosted the prominent Islamic preacher Muhammad Abu Bakr, presenter of the famous religious program on Al-Nahar TV, as a scientific researcher to discuss his master's thesis entitled "The Promised Land Between Jewish Thought and Islamic Thought: A Comparative Study," in the field of creed within the Department of Islamic Studies at the faculty.
The discussion took place in Dr. Ezzat Abdullah Hall in the presence of Dr. Moatamad Ali, Professor of Islamic Studies, serving as the chair and primary examiner; Dr. Mohamed Madbouly, Professor of Orientalism and Comparative Religion and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Translation at Al-Azhar University, serving as examiner; Dr. Ammar Ahmed Khalaf, Head of the Hebrew Language Department at the faculty, as supervisor; and Dr. Emad Abdel-Samee, Professor of Islamic Studies at the faculty, as supervisor.

The discussion was attended by Dr. Samah Fekry, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Haider Mokhtar, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, several faculty members of the college, a large number of students, and an audience of the preacher and his admirers. After the researcher’s discussion of his distinguished thesis, he was awarded a Master of Arts degree in Creed, Department of Islamic Studies, with excellent distinction, along with a recommendation for printing and publication among universities.
