To obtain the impact factor and citations of Arab scientific journals (ARCIF), one of the initiatives of the "Maarafa" database for the production of scientific content, in the seventh annual report of the journals for 2022.
It is worth mentioning that the impact factor "Arcif" is under the supervision of the "Supervisory and Coordination Council", which consists of representatives of several Arab and international bodies: namely the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab States in Beirut, the United Nations Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a knowledge database in addition to a scientific committee of experts and academics with a leading scientific reputation from several Arab countries and Britain.
Arcif laboratories have worked to examine and study the data of more than 5100 titles of Arab scientific or research journals in various disciplines, issued by more than 1400 scientific or research bodies in 20 Arab countries except Djibouti and Comoros for lack of data, of which only 1000 scientific journals succeeded to be accredited within the global standards of Arcif laboratories in the 2022 report.
