The Biomaterials Department of the Faculty of Dentistry at Assiut University held a scientific day in cooperation with its counterpart at Minya University entitled “Tips and Tricks for Testing Dental Materials” on Thursday 1st June 2023 at the defense hall. The workshop was delivered by faculty staff from both universities. The scientific day was divided into two parts: theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part included information about material testing and the ideal methods for making samples, defects in the tested samples, and a practical part in the material properties research laboratory, which included practical application to identify the different mold-making methods, problems and defects of molds and samples, in addition to practical application for programming the international measuring device.
