Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hwail, Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hamad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jaber Qassem, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, launched today, Tuesday 1/11/2022, a grand celebration under the name

"Assiut and Our Green Future", which coincides with the preparations of the Egyptian state to host the COP27 climate conference this month, which is scheduled to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6 to 18 November, with the participation of a large crowd of leaders and leaders from more than 197 countries from different countries of the world. This festivity extends throughout the month of November. A tree symbolizing the celebration was planted in front of the building, then the university president and deputies made a quick tour of the university’s faculties to review their various environmental activities in celebration of this day, within the framework of the major competition launched by the sector under the title “climate students” in order to provide the opportunity for university students to express issues different climates according to their own vision.
