The Department of Educational Psychology is one of the educational departments in the college that collaborate with  other departments in the professional preparation of students and qualifying them to undertake the teaching profession in the pre-university education stages where the department teaches course that aims to help our student to understand the interactive relationship between The education system and other social systems, and to be aware of the new roles of the teacher in an era characterized by rapid change. In addition to employing psychological and social theories in the field of the educational process.


we have a deep belief that the continuous development and improvement of the department's performance will achieve outputs at a high level of excellence and ability to interact efficiently with the changes in the knowledge society, and therefore the department is keen to achieve its future aspirations through a strategic plan within the framework of the project of continuous development and qualification for accreditation, which is based on the precise strategic directions of the current situation and future challenges to achieve the vision and mission of the college.

Department Objectives

  1. Developing cognitive, skillful, and compassionate teachers.
  2. Delivering modern educational programs and continuing innovations in educational psychology.
  3. Promoting teaching as a Semitic profession.
  4. Developing the skills and research competencies and their applications in the field of education.
  5. Improving the effectiveness of the research performance of faculty members.
  6. Developing effective partnerships with local, regional, and international educational institutions.
  7. Empowering learners with the skills of analyzing educational issues in the local and regional community and proposing new strategy.
  8. Disseminating the psychological culture through meeting the needs of the community of educational and psychological counseling and services.
