The College Quality Assurance Unit held its regular meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Khaled Salah, Dean of the College. Attendees included Professor Dr. Mohamed Safwat Abu Raya, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Salwa Abdel Rahman Megahed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Mahmoud Aneeb Othman, Director of the Unit; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basset Abdo, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; Professor Dr. Adham Mokhtar, Deputy Director of the Unit; Engineer Nevin Salah Deif, Deputy Director of the Experts Office at the Ministry of Justice in Assiut, representing engineering employment agencies; Engineer Mayar Abdel Basir, representing the College's teaching assistants; and the Unit's administrative staff.

The session addressed several important topics, including informing the council that the application for the 2026 Government Excellence Award had been completed and uploaded to the platform on June 30, 2026. The council also reviewed the progress made in describing courses and programs, preparing reports, and fulfilling the requirements for uploading them to the National Qualifications Framework platform. Furthermore, the council approved the formation of the advisory council for the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and reviewed the implementation status of the college's self-study committee. The general committee, subcommittees, and internal quality monitoring committee were also formed.

The council also approved the annual plan for periodically evaluating the college's activities using objective performance indicators throughout the calendar year.
