The College Organizes a Workshop to Develop the New College Bylaws.

On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the College organized a workshop to develop the new academic bylaws, in accordance with the 2026 Engineering Studies Sector Committee's Reference Framework and the 2024 Higher Education Programs Guidance Framework in Egypt.

The workshop reviewed the 2024 Higher Education Programs Guidance Framework in Egypt, the 2026 Engineering Studies Sector Committee's Reference Framework, and the general requirements issued by the Engineering Studies Sector Committee.

The workshop also reviewed the efforts of the Architecture and Civil Engineering Departments in designing their respective programs and identified the university and college requirements to standardize them across all programs.

Participants discussed some of the problems that arose during the implementation of the current bylaws and how to avoid them in the new bylaws. They also discussed some of the trends, policies, and teaching and learning methods, as well as ways to integrate and align with labor market demands, contributing to achieving certain aspects of the higher education strategy in Egypt, Egypt's Vision 2030, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The workshop was held in the auditorium of Professor Dr. Abdel Moneim Hassan Kamel in the Department of Architectural Engineering. The workshop was attended by a number of the college’s vice deans, heads of departments, the director of the college’s quality assurance unit, coordinators of specialized programs, and members of the working groups in preparing the new regulations for departments and programs.
