Engineering Education Development Center
Center’s goals
The Engineering Education Development Center aims to achieve the faculty’s mission by:
- Designing E-learning system that serve undergraduate and postgraduate studies by providing scientific materials to enhance and develop self-study method.
- Affording training courses for last-year students in many disciplines in information technology to enhance their skills.
- Designing many educative engineering programs such as diploma and masters in many engineering sectors in order to enhance students’ skills needed in the labor market.
- The center is supplied with (20) devices connected to the information network serving postgraduate students in masters and doctoral to maximize the benefit from the digital library.
- Organizing scientific conferences, seminars and workshops in advanced engineering fields and in the field of information technology.
- Serving scientific conference business in terms of publishing on the information network and electronic printing of scientific material on compact disks (CD).
- Electronic publishing of all educational programs and all activities, including conferences, research projects, agreements, scientific visits, student exchanges, and curriculum vitae of faculty members.
- Designing educative programs at the bachelor’s degree in advanced engineering fields in cooperation with foreign universities that allow raising the skills of graduates in areas needed by the labor market, as well as exchanging experiences.

The center provides certificates accredited by the university.
The center reserves a seminar room for discussions of masters and doctoral theses for graduates and academic members.
The center, through the multimedia lab, provides services to students from printing, copying, CDs and scanners.
