Small or medium-sized, unarmed deciduous tree. Leaves 2-lobed, resembling a camels foot, petals broad, pale blue to purple. Fertile stamens 5 or 6 stigma small. Pod 15-30 cm long, flat, beaked.
The tree is native of India and China.
