HISTORY (FACULTY STORY)
Engineering at Assiut University has a long and distinguished history. The oldest university building was established in 1957 in el-wleedyaa. Today, we continue to educate individuals, offer a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in all departments, and give our students the freedom to choose the stream appropriate to their skills and interests. Engineering at Assiut University offers a learning environment that inspires new ideas and innovations. The duration of the study is five years which are divided into a preparatory year for all students, followed by four years of specialized scientific departments.
