فريق طبي بمستشفى القلب بجامعة أسيوط ينجح في إنقاذ حياة مريضة تعاني من ورم بالقلب

في انجاز طبي جديد يضاف إلى سجل انجازات مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط، نجح فريق طبي بمستشفى القلب بجامعة أسيوط في إنقاذ حياة مريضة تعاني من ورم بالقلب، تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والأستاذ الدكتور عصام عبد الله مدير مستشفى، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد عياد رئيس قسم جراحة القلب والصدر.
كان مستشفى القلب بجامعة أسيوط استقبل مريضة من محافظة المنيا تبلغ من العمر ٥٦ عاما، تعاني من ضيق في التنفس وثقل بالصدر منذ ٥ أعوام، ولم تشخص بالتشخيص صحيح، ليتم إجراء مناظرة للمريضة من قبل الدكتور علي تهامي مدرس أمراض القلب، وعقب توقيع الكشف الطبي والاشاعات تبين وجود ورم كبير الحجم بالأذين الأيسر من القلب، وعلى الفور قرر الفريق الطبي الذي تشكل من الدكتور محمد فاروق مدرس جراحة القلب والصدر، والدكتور عمر عرفات مدرس مساعد جراحة القلب والصدر، والدكتور محمد عماد مدرس مساعد جراحة القلب والصدر، والدكتور مصطفى لؤي و الدكتور أحمد وهبه نواب جراحة القلب والصدر، والدكتور أحمد مندور استشاري التخدير والرعاية المركزة، إجراء عملية قلب مفتوح لاستئصال الورم من داخل القلب، ليتم بعدها نقل المريضة للعناية المركزة، لتستقر حالتها بعد ذلك وتغادر المستشفى عقب إجراء الجراحة بأربعة أيام فقط.
وقد توجه الفريق الطبي بالشكر لهيئة التمريض المعاونة الأستاذ أحمد أشرف والأستاذة إسلام صابر.
Following an extremely delicate surgical procedure, a medical team at Assiut University Heart Hospital successfully saved the life of a patient suffering from a heart tumor.
In a new medical achievement added to the record of accomplishments of Assiut University Hospitals, a medical team at Assiut University Heart Hospital succeeded in saving the life of a patient suffering from a heart tumor, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, Professor Dr. Alaa Attiya, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Professor Dr. Essam Abdellah, Hospital Director, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Eyad, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.
Assiut University Heart Hospital had received a 56-year-old female patient from Minya Governorate who had been suffering from shortness of breath and chest tightness for 5 years. The patient had not been correctly diagnosed, and after a cardiac catheterization performed by Dr. Ali Thahamy, a lecturer in cardiology, and following a physical examination and imaging, a large tumor was found in the left atrium of the heart. Immediately, the medical team, consisting of Dr. Mohamed Farouk, a lecturer in cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Omar Arafa, assistant lecturer in cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Mohamed Emad, assistant lecturer in cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Mustafa Louay, Dr. Ahmed Wahaba, deputy cardiovascular surgeons, and Dr. Ahmed Mandour, consultant of anesthesia and intensive care, decided to perform open-heart surgery to remove the tumor from inside the heart. The patient was then transferred to the intensive care unit, and her condition stabilized. She left the hospital just four days after the surgery.
The medical team expressed their gratitude to the nursing staff, namely Mr. Ahmed Ashraf and Ms. Islam saber.
