The importance behind establishing "The International Relations Sector" comes from University's mission to provide a competitive environment for creativity and innovation in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the University's staff and students. "The International Relations Sector" was established to serve the University and establish ways of cooperating with universities, institutions and international organizations to provide opportunities that serve the University's scientific and educational career and enhance the level of its students and various staff, with a view to strengthening the University's role in the domestic and international regions.

The International Relations Sector seeks to build the bridges of knowledge communication between the University and its partners from Universities and international educational institutions in the fields of science, culture and others. Through:

• Supervision and review of various agreements with international, regional or local stakeholders.
• Introducing students to international student exchange programmes, scholarships and training opportunities.
• Introducing the international programmes for faculty members in order to support scientific research and finance scientific projects, academic exchange programs and capacity development programs available to them and the administrative staff.
• Activating the University's role and reflecting its place in the international region through local, regional and international cooperation in the fields of education, training, scientific research and culture.
