University in international rankings
In the belief of the University in its role in closer relations between its students and in the first activities of the Office of International Relations within Assuit University, the Office of International Relations organized the students' day to exchange cultures and experiences among its students of different nationalities. Each country has made show of its popular folklore, its folk clothes and it's most famous food. A photo exhibition was also held on this day. A group of representatives of Arab communities and students from "Sudan, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, and Syria" took part "in students' day. Assuit university student' day was held under the auspices of Prof. Tarek El-Gamal (The president of Assuit university), Prof. Shehata Ghreeb (the vice president of Assuit university), and Prof. Magda Mahmoud Ali (the coordinator of international relations office).
First day:
§The event began with opening speeches and a presentation by Prof. Asmaa Abdel Nasser, Assiut University (61 years of Excellence).
§ After the opening ceremony, the exhibition was opened.
§ Discussion session was held in (discussion hall –A) by Prof. Shehata Ghreeb under the title (The role of incoming students in university life).
§ The parallel session (Session of the German Scientific Exchange Commission - British Cultural Council).
§ Meeting between the British Council and the delegation of the Faculty of Literature.
§ This is followed by a tour of the University's facilities.
§ The day ends with an evening concert.
Achievements of the first day:
v A protocol was signed between the University and the British Council.
Second day:
§ Session on the role of International institutions in the Development of higher Education. (Erasmus+-Prima Project - German Science Exchange Commission).
