The Legal Studies Center for Community Service at the Faculty of Law, Assiut University, 
held a symposium entitled "Modern Amendments to the Real Estate Registration Law" 
under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gamal - President of the University and 
Prof. Dr. Maha Ghanem - Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development. 
The seminar was moderated by Prof. Dr. Othman Abdel Qader - Director of the Center, 
and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saad Khalifa - Professor of Civil Law and former Dean of 
the Faculty of Law - gave a lecture in which he addressed the essence of the amendments 
and their legislative philosophy, and Dr. Ayman Bushra - Secretary of the North Assiut

The seminar emphasized several points, the most important of which were:

First: Appreciating the new legislative amendments, as they represent an effective step 
in facilitating real estate registration, preserving real estate ownership and achieving 
economic recovery in the real estate market.

Second: Recommending the formation of a committee from the Ministry of Justice to follow 
up the practical application of the new texts with the aim of monitoring implementation 
problems and confronting them legislatively and administratively.

Third: Recommending the need to expedite the completion of the reconciliation procedures 
for building violations, and granting the conciliators Form 10 to facilitate registration.

Fourth: Emphasis on continuous training for the real estate registry office staff in 
the technological and legal fields.

Fifth: Organizing courses in real estate law for those interested during the next phase 
at the Legal Studies Center at the Faculty of Law.
