Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, issued: A decision was issued to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center, at the University’s Faculty of Law, headed by Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, issued: Resolution No. (3582); 
By restructuring the Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center, at the University’s 
College of Law, headed by Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College of Law, and in 
accordance with the decision; Appointment of Dr. Mohamed Refaat Abdel Halim, lecturer 
in the Civil Law Department at the College of Law; Director of the Center, until the 
end of the three-year period, issued by Resolution No. (3357) dated 11/5/2023 AD.
Dr. Al-Minshawi explained: The university’s arbitration center is one of the units of 
a special nature, which enjoys technical, administrative, and financial independence, 
and aims to provide a solid scientific base. To advance the fields of arbitration 
and amicable settlement of disputes at the level of Upper Egypt; The center represents 
a link between the College of Law and the community. By organizing many activities, 
events, courses, consultations, and other various services that can advance and develop 
society, Involving students and researchers in community interaction, and instilling 
in them the spirit of cooperation; To be more effective and serve; For their community, 
and their country.
The Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center at the Faculty of Law includes among 
its members: A group of legal cadres, namely: Counselor Abdel Razek Mahmoud Shuaib, 
Head of the State Lawsuits Authority, Captain Abdel Halim Allam, Head of the Bar Syndicate, 
President of the Arab Lawyers Union, Engineer Jihan Ahmed Ammar, Head of the Nasser City 
Authority in West Assiut, and Dr. Hammad Mustafa Azab, Emeritus Professor in the Commercial 
Law Department. And Dr. Ragab Muhammad Al-Sayyed, the college’s dean for education 
and student affairs.
