A field visit for Assiut Law students to the Police Academy in Cairo

Dr. Al-Minshawy: The goal of the visit is to support scientific benefit by simulating students' practical reality and learning about the academy's capabilities

The Faculty of Law at Assiut University, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Douib Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Legal Advisor to the President of the University, organized a field visit for its students to the Police Academy in Cairo; with the aim of supporting scientific benefit by simulating students' practical reality and learning about the academy's capabilities and what it offers to students, and confirming cooperation and cohesion between Assiut Law students and their counterparts in the Police College, organized by Dr. Ragab Al-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, and a number of faculty members, and the auxiliary body, with the participation of 38 male and female students.

The university delegation was received by Major General Dr. Director of the Police College, a number of leaders and officers of the academy, in addition to a number of male and female students of the Police College.

The visit included a tour inside the academy; To learn about the academy's entities, including the Police Research Center and its logistical capabilities, and the center's role in graduating, preparing and qualifying security cadres from friendly and sisterly Arab and African countries and the Commonwealth countries.

The visit also included watching a documentary film about the academy's various activities in the field of; and how to prepare and qualify male and female students of the Police College, and train officers in various sectors; to advance their security mission, and prepare police elements capable of dealing with all challenges, and adhere to human and ethical values, respect the law, and protect human rights and basic freedoms.

The delegation continued its tour; to the Egyptian Center for Training in Peacekeeping Operations affiliated with the College of Training and Development, which is responsible for preparing security cadres (national - foreign); to participate in international peacekeeping missions affiliated with the United Nations, in addition to the combat training field complex, and technical security training fields on the job specialization with the simulation system, and the tour concluded by watching shows (cavalry - security and guard dogs).

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, confirmed; These visits help students to know how to achieve the scientific message in the field of "law and security", in a modern and advanced way, and in a practical way, in the largest police institutions in the country and the region; because of their capabilities and modern and advanced capabilities in; preparing graduates who are proficient in applying the law, adding that: These experiences create a kind of communication and cohesion between Assiut Law students and their counterparts in the Police College, in addition to building bridges of cooperation and interconnection between various state agencies.

For his part, Dr. Douib Saber pointed out the keenness of the college administration to repeat this visit, which contributes to developing and refining the experiences of the college students, and opening their intellectual and cultural horizons, in addition to enhancing cooperation between students of the Faculty of Law and other educational institutions, directing thanks to the Ministry of Interior for organizing this fruitful and constructive visit, praising the efforts made by the Academy in order to prepare and qualify a modern police officer.

A delegation from Assiut University participated in the visit, including; Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aleem, Assistant Professor in the Department of Legal History and Director of the English Language Law Program, Dr. Mariam Abdel-Malik El-Qums, Lecturer in the Law of Civil Procedure and Member of Parliament, Dr. Mahmoud Rashad, Assistant Lecturer in the Public Law Department, Dr. Iyad Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Teaching Assistant in the Civil Law Department in the English Language Program, Dr. Ashraf Gaballah, Director of the Youth Care Department at the Faculty, and Mr. Hossam El-Hafnawy, Director of the Public Relations Department at the Faculty of Law, in addition to a number of Youth Care employees at the Faculty.
