Assiut University ends preparations for the first semester exams Jan. 1st, 2012

About 70 thousand students in 16 Faculties in Assiut University are getting ready for the final first-semester exams with the beginning of January 2012. Prof. Mostafa Mohamed Kamal, President of the university emphasized the necessity of entire commitment to the regulations and systems which featured the exams during the past years. Besides, more effort should be exerted to overcome any negative points or shortcomings affecting the general atmosphere of quietness, clarity of questions, quality of exam sheets, in addition to the presence of Deans and Faculty members at exam halls to solve any problem and resolve students' queries. Likewise, all facilities including good lighting system, medical and psychological assistance must be provided. Moreover, the president will tour around to make sure that all previous considerations are taken are of. In the meantime, Vice President, Prof. Ahmed Gaeis, has pointed out that the exams of the Open Education programs at faculties of Commerce, Law and Arts, in addition to practical exams at other practical faculties have already begun late December, and that the university is keen on providing its facilities for the comfort of its students while simultaneously urging them to keep and act within the acknowledged norms and codes of discipline, order, and ethics.
