Assiut University celebrates the graduation of the 27th batch of students of the Faculty of social work
Assiut University witnessed a special celebration on the occasion of the graduation of the twenty-seventh batch of students of the Faculty of social work, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice-president of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Iman Abdul-Aal, vice-dean of the college for education and Student Affairs and acting dean of the College, Dr. Randa Mohammed Sayed, vice-dean of the college for community service and environmental development, Mr. Ahmed Shawki, vice-president of the social graduates and their families.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the students of the College of Social Work and their families on the occasion of their graduation, wishing them a promising professional future, stressing that the social worker is one of the main pillars in building a stable society, because of his effective role in solving community problems, supporting the most needy groups, and contributing to improving the quality of life.
For his side, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla praised the remarkable excellence shown by the students of the college during their active participation in the activities of the University and various competitions at the level of Egyptian universities, calling on graduates to continue their professional career with determination and diligence, and contribute effectively to serve the community and the country.
Dr. Iman Abdul-Aal also expressed her appreciation to the university administration for its continuous support to the college, and its keenness to develop study programs to keep pace with modern changes, stressing that the graduation day represents a moment of pride and harvest for the efforts of years of study, and a start towards performing a lofty mission to serve the community and eliminate the needs of people.
Mr. Ahmed Shawky expressed his happiness to participate in the graduation ceremony, paying tribute to the graduates, and calling on them to actively participate in achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030, through community work based on scientific knowledge and a professional approach.
The ceremony included honoring the University's leaders, and graduation shields were handed over to 350 graduates, along with artistic and entertainment segments that were admired by the audience.
