Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, President of Assiut University announced the start of a new and distinguished educational program in Medicine and Surgery. The study in this program will be carried out in an integrated system, Dr. Tarek El- Gammal, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine said. Dr. El-Gammal added that the integrated systems allows students to study medicine through its various branches; a matter that enables students to relate between the basic knowledge of medicine and the Clinical knowledge at early stages in their medical studies. Dr. El-Gammal said that the program will host from 50-60 students of those who are already enrolled in the Faculty and the annual fees will be Le. 40.000 (forty thousand Egyptian Pounds).
