Assiut University President Escorts HE Minister of Planning and International Cooperation in a Tour inside the University Cardiology and Liver Hospitals

In company of Dr. Amr Derrag, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Dr. Yehia Kishk, Governor of Assiut, Dr. Mostafa Kamal, President of Assiut University made a tour inside the University Cardiology Hospital. They scouted the construction work at the hospital to find out a suitable means for providing proper support to complete the necessary equipments. The Hospital is intended to encompass a conference hall and operation rooms with the most recent equipments to serve as one of the university hospitals providing distinct medical care for patients of Upper Egypt and the Red Sea provinces. The University president and his companions paid a similar tour to Al-Rajhi Liver Hospital which the university inaugurated last year with a cost amount of 130 million Egyptian pounds. Dr. Ahmed Makhlouf, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board indicated that the Liver Hospital includes 200 beds, 6 clinics in addition to the Reception Department. Besides, it also includes the three units; Therapeutic and Diagnostic Digestion Laparoscopy Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Radiology and Labs Unit.
