Assiut University President meets with legal department directors to discuss the development of legal work systems at the university.

Prof. El-Minshawy points out the importance of working according to the latest legal developments and pathways, and the monitoring of periodic publications of important legislation and new laws.

On Monday, September 2nd, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the president of Assiut University, met with the directors of the legal departments at the university to discuss various legal issues in different sectors of the university. The objective was to establish visions and proposals for the development of legal work systems at the university and to regulate work according to new legal developments. This meeting was attended by Counselor Abdel Razek Osman, the vice president of the State Council and legal advisor to Assiut University, as well as Mr. Mahmoud Abu El-Maali, the head of the central administration for legal departments, along with general managers and lawyers from the legal departments.

Prof. El-Minshawy underlined the importance of developing legal work systems at the university, as there is a close connection between compliance with the law and the success of the university in fulfilling its role. He pointed out that no successful institution exists without the law and the rules that regulate it, and that the law is created to solve many problems and to protect individuals' rights.

During the meeting, the university president listened to discussions on several legal topics that concern the university and its hospitals, including the planned work strategies for the upcoming period, the implementation of mechanisms to ensure transparency and efficiency in performance, the work according to new legal developments, and monitoring the periodic publications of important legislation and newly implemented laws within government institutions. This all aims to improve the general level of the administrative work system at the university according to its vision and strategies, which align with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the vision of the Egyptian state for developing work systems.

Prof. El-Minshawy expressed his strong confidence in the ability of the legal department workers to achieve the university's goals, emphasizing the necessity of all efforts and teamwork to continue the path of achievements in all fields and to maintain the university's progress and excellence at both the local and global levels. He thanked Counselor Abdelrazek Osman for his efforts and dedication, as well as the employees in the legal departments.

Counselor Abdelrazek Osman presented the standards and regulations governing the work in legal departments in light of legal developments, and how to apply the executive regulations of the laws within government institutions and Egyptian universities. He also discussed the most important procedures that would contribute to accelerating the work pace and addressing the main challenges and obstacles that the university faces in some legal matters.

Mr. Mahmoud Abu El-Maali expressed his gratitude to the university administration, under the leadership of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, for their continuous support of the legal departments and for taking all necessary actions that contribute to the completion of legal matters and the immediate resolution of problems in various departments. He also highlighted the importance of developing the skills of the employees through training and qualification to provide the best possible performance.
