Under the auspices of Dr. Mostafa M. Kamal, President of Assiut University, Dr. Ahmed Makhlouf, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and the Chairman of the Egyptian Society for lenses transplantation and correction of refractive eyes, the Department Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Egyptian Society for lenses transplantation lenses and correction of refractive eyes hosts a scientific forum during the current Dec. 2012. Dr. Mohamed Tarek Abdel-Moneim, head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, indicated that the forum will include 12 research papers presentations in 6 parallel sessions. The papers will consider a number of issues the most important of which are the critical cataract surgeries, Lasik surgeries, and treatment of cornea. Professors of Ophthalmology from different Egyptian universities will participate in the occasion.
