Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Sameia, president of Assiut University and in the presence of Prof. Hasan Salah, Vice president for Community Affairs and Environment Service, and Prof. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Director of the Centre for Environment Studies and Research, the proceedings of the scientific forum organized by the Centre for Environment Studies and Research under the title: "Ebola- The Danger Coming from Africa" started. Prof. Salah indicated that the responsibility of cautioning against this danger is a social responsibility and it should be carried by the educated, the media men and women, and all the people. He also revealed that the illness caused by this Virus and known as "Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever" is one of the devastating illnesses which appeared lately and its death ratios reached about 90% and he therefore asks all mass media to warn the citizens to follow a number of environment constraints and to follow the highest degrees of self protection by bewaring the blood and liquids of infected cases
