The Friendship University of Russia seeks cooperation with Assiut University in the establishment of an Arabic language teaching center in Moscow

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Menshawi, Vice-President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, announced that the Russian Friendship University has sought to cooperate with the University of Assiut in establishing a center for teaching Arabic language at the university headquarters in Moscow. This came during an extensive meeting of Vice President of Assiut University with Dr. Larissa Iver Yamuka, Vice President for International Affairs, and Dr. Galina Lu Kianova, Head of Foreign Languages Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies, in the presence of Dr Hassan Abdel Hamid, the supervisor of Russian Language Learning Center. Prof. Al-Manshawi pointed out that the request of the University of Friendship to establish an Arabic Language Center in cooperation with Assiut University is to be presented to Prof. Tarek El-Gamal, President of the University, to discuss the possibility of establishing the center in a strong and effective way. The vice president of Assiut University added that his meeting with the administration of the Russian Friendship University also included the completion of the final points in the joint agreement between the two universities in the fields of space science and remote sensing as well as the activation of joint degrees in the fields of medicine, engineering and mechatronics.
