The Vice President of Assiut University witnesses the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with Rotary Egypt for community development and service in various societal areas

Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, delegated Prof. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, to sign a joint cooperation protocol between the university and Rotary Egypt - Rotary Zone 2451 "Specific Union for Rotary Clubs", during its reception of Dr. Farouk Abdel Qawy, Advisor to the President of the University for Environmental Affairs , Major General Tadros Kaldas, member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Sharif Waly represented in the signature in his capacity as Governor of the Rotary District 2451, Major General Hani Nabih, Assistant to the Rotary Governor of the Assiut and Sohag Region, and Engineer Nabil Hammad, Coordinator of the Assistant Rotary Governor in the region and the engineer Hala Barti, a member in the Rotary District, and a number of members in the Rotary District. Prof. Maha Ghanem stressed that the protocol of cooperation with Rotary Egypt comes in conjunction with the state’s interest in developing youth skills and creating a new generation of youth leaders that can carry the banner of society, stressing the university’s pioneering role in community service and its students as one of the main centers in the presence and gathering of young people and the development of their personal, scientific and practical abilities in order to serve the community. Prof. Maha Ghanem indicated that the cooperation protocol aims at the two parties working to develop and serve the community in all areas that can be contributed to, as well as organizing and holding training activities, courses, seminars, workshops and conferences in all fields and aspects related to the development of society and the environment and the provision of scientific materials and trainers as well as encouraging partnership with the private sector, international companies and international and regional organizations working in the field of community service.
