Assiut University receives a Russian research delegation to study geographical nature and geology in the Red Sea Governorate

Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, emphasized that joint international cooperation is a fundamental pillar of the work strategy applied at the University, seeking international scientific and cultural openness and strengthening mutual and joint work with major universities and scientific institutions in various countries of the world. This came in the context of his mandate to Prof. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, to meet a Russian delegation from the University of Moscow for Geological Exploration in the Russian capital at the beginning of their scientific visit to the university. The Russian delegation is headed by Dr. Natalia Senov, Professor of Geology at the Russian University and coordinator of the joint agreement that brings together the University of Assiut and the University of Moscow for geological exploration. This agreement is to provide the exchange of faculty members and students as well as joint cooperation in various research and knowledge areas, according to which the delegation that includes 2 members of the teaching specialists in the field of geology, along with 7 university and postgraduate students, in an exploratory visit to the geography of the Quseir in the Red Sea Governorate and its picturesque geographical nature, in a visit that extends from January 26 to February 9, and which also includes a tourist program to visit the most important monuments in Luxor and Cairo, noting that the university is scheduled to receive another Russian delegation from the same university in the period from 9 to 20 February, for the same target .
