Assiut University announces that students of the Faculty of Specific Education have received the Creativity and Excellence Award at the level of Egyptian universities

Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, congratulated the participating student team in the activities of the Folk Crafts Festival in Egyptian universities from the Faculty of Specific Education, the Art Education Department at Assiut University– the creative leader in Aswan, for winning the creativity and excellence award among universities, which was organized by the Institute for Leadership Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and in partnership with Aswan University under the slogan “My Country’s Good” from 4 to 8 February, under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, and led by Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute, and under the supervision of Dr. Hossam El Din Mostafa, and Dr. Abdel Moneim El Gilani.

Prof. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, praised the extent of excellence and creativity of the university students and their great ability to participate in all local and international competitions in various fields and win advanced positions in them, noting that the festival comes in implementation of the vision of the political leadership towards rooting Egyptian identity and to preserving our folklore from disappearance, especially among university students through holding art exhibitions and workshops that give students a set of skills and crafts that Egypt has been famous for throughout its history. This can be achieved through introducing the participating students from the various Egyptian universities to the folk crafts and small and micro industries in various parts of Egypt.
