Assiut University hosts a ceremony to honor all applicants for competition in the Assiut University Award for Quality and Government Excellence in its first edition, in appreciation of their positive participation

Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, President of Assiut University, confirmed that the university administration was keen to honor all competition applicants in the Assiut University Award for Quality and Governmental Excellence, who were not lucky to win. The administration also honored the cooperating departments that contributed to following up on the work of the award, in appreciation of their fruitful interaction with the efforts the university is witnessing for development in all areas. Such positive interaction contributed to the success of the university’s precedent in being the first Egyptian university to launch the internal award for the various units of the administrative apparatus affiliated with it. Moreover, the university's administrative body is famous for its speed of performance, efficiency of its elements, the breadth of its expertise, and practical solidarity between its various disciplines, a source of guidance for quality and excellence management. Finally, the president stressed the importance of holding more courses to introduce the award, its criteria, assessment bases, and how to nominate for its various fields, in order to expand the base of participants in the coming times.

This announcement came in response to the honoring ceremony for the winners of the Assiut University Award for Quality and Governmental Excellence. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mostafa Hassan, Assistant Secretary and Executive Director of the award; Professor Wael Mohamed Mahmoud, Assistant Secretary of the University; Professor Mohamed Abbas, Director of Quality and Excellence and representative of the Higher Management of Quality and General Coordinator of the Award; and a large crowd of university students that included deans and faculty members of a number of faculties, leaders and members of the university’s administrative body.
