President of Assiut University praises presidential support for the project to establish the private university and announces the completion of approximately 70% of the construction work

Dr. Tariq Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, went to New Assiut City to follow up over the volume of business and the achievement of the private university headquarters, which is part of the establishment of the new urban branch to be an extension of Assiut University in New Assiut City where the president of Assuit Univeristy was accompanied on the inspection visit  with Dr. Shehata Gharib Vice-Chancellor of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Postgraduate and Research Affairs and Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Community Service, Dr. Mohammed Hilmi Al-Hafnawi, Engineering Adviser to the President of the University in the presence of Engineer Mohammed Thabet, Director General of Engineering Affairs, University of Assiut and Engineer Imad Yusuf and Professor Mohamed Bakr from the supervisory body of the project from Assiut University, Engineer Mustafa Abdul Maksoud, Deputy Director of Arab Contractors Company, Engineer Ashraf Al-Kurdosi and Engineer Ashraf Abdel-Azim, Project Managers of Arab Contractors Company, Engineer Imad Omar, Kindergarten Project Manager, Engineer Mohammed Tharut and Engineer Mustafa Atef , the executive engineers of the project.

The President of the University and the Vice-Presidents of the University of various sectors went to the headquarters of the Civil University to learn about the volume of work and the achievements made. They were received by Captain Omar Mohamed Said and Captain Alaa Hassan of the Department of Major Projects of the Engineering Authority and the engineers supervising the project.

The President of the University revealed that the volume of recent work at the new headquarters of the private University on an area of 38 acres at a cost of EGP 1925 million pounds. This project has been completed by approximately 70% under the supervision of the Engineering Authority, which has developed the uniform engineering scheme for about 10 civil universities and explaining that buildings vary between buildings dedicated to medical science colleges, and another for humanities and engineering colleges along with a building dedicated to workshops in which the University is implemented in two phases, the first of which includes 7 medical and engineering colleges. Besides the construction of the new Assiut University Hospital to be the nucleus of the University Medical School President of the Republic, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi paid tribute to projects to establish a number of private universities in the Republic. His sponsorship of this matter has had a major impact in accelerating the ongoing work of Assiut New University’s project.
