Dr. El-Minshawy participates in the activities of the second international conference on technological education with a wide international participation

- Dr. El-Minshawy: Assiut international Technological University highlights its presence at the second international conference on technological education with distinguished student and academic participation

   Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and supervisor of Assiut international Technological University, participated in the activities of the second international conference on technological education (SCTE2025), which kicked off yesterday evening under the slogan "education today for tomorrow's Jobs", Sponsored by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, and organized by the Supreme Council for technological education, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-jayoushi, Secretary of the Supreme Council for technological education and chairman of the conference.

  The conference was attended by a number of ministers and dignitaries, including Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and Sports, Mr. Mohammed Gibran, Minister of labor, Dr. Hossam Othman, Deputy Minister of higher education for innovation and scientific research, ambassador Kim Yong hyun, ambassador of South Korea in Cairo, Ambassador Mohammed Trad bin Sufyan, ambassador of Malaysia in Cairo, Dr. wala shta, CEO of the science, technology and innovation Financing Authority, Major General Mukhtar Abdul Latif, chairman of the Arab Organization for industrialization, a number of heads of state and technological universities and leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education, industrialists, and technology education experts from around the world, as well as students of technological universities.

  During the opening session, Dr. Ayman Ashour, in a speech delivered on his behalf by Dr. Hossam Osman, stressed the great attention paid by the Egyptian state to technological education as a vital and strategic path to qualify human cadres capable of supporting the national economy. He explained that Egypt currently has 12 Technological Universities offering 58 study programs, while working on the establishment of 17 new universities within the state Vision 2030.

  Assiut international technological university actively participated in the second international conference on technological education (SCTE2025), where the University delegation was headed by Dr. Ahmed El – Minshawy, along with a group of students from the Egyptian – German Technological College-one of the faculties of Assiut international Technological University-under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Saad Ali, Dean of the College, where students presented a number of innovative projects within the activities of the scientific exhibition accompanying the conference.

  Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that the conference aims to enhance dialogue on the future of technological education and link its outputs to the needs of the global market, as well as discuss the latest trends in technological fields, with wide international participation, reflecting the growing interest in the development of this type of education and opening wide horizons for International Cooperation and innovation.

 Dr. El-Minshawy expressed his pride in participating in this international event, which brings together the elite of academics and innovators, stressing that technological education is no longer an option, but an imperative to keep pace with the local and global labor market, pointing to the importance of linking education outputs and the actual needs of productive sectors.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that Assiut international Technological University is moving steadily towards building an integrated technological education model that keeps pace with accelerated developments and enhances youth employment opportunities, pointing out that this participation represents an extension of the University's strategy to consolidate its position as one of the leading technological universities in Egypt, especially at its level.

Dr. Ahmed Saad Ali stressed that participation in this international forum represents a real opportunity to enhance the academic presence of the University and highlight the excellence of its students in providing applied technological solutions, stressing that the University puts on top of its priorities the integration of education with practical application and the actual needs of the labor market.

The university students ' projects have received great attention, as a number of them have been nominated for presentation to the jury committees, investors and supporting bodies, reflecting the growing confidence in the quality of educational programs offered by the University, and its ability to prepare young cadres capable of innovation and development.

  Over the course of its three days, the conference includes discussion sessions, a scientific exhibition of student projects, and a platform for exchanging experiences, where more than 2,200 people from various sectors participate, in addition to presenting 35 scientific researches and 75 student projects to investors and supporters.
