This year’s theme is “Advancing Ecofriendly Multidisciplinary Research in Pharmacy”
IPSC is held once every two years. This year, the conference focuses on exploring sustainable solutions in pharmaceutical research, discussing different topics at the intersection of innovation, environmental responsibility and multidisciplinary pharmaceutical research. Hence, we are looking forward to your valuable contribution in our event.

The competition aimed to provide students with practical legal skills and familiarize them with alternative dispute resolution and arbitration methods in both Arabic and English.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the President of Assiut University, accompanied a student delegation from the Federal Russian University of Pyatigorsk on a visit to the Coptic Orthodox Bishopric in Assiut to congratulate them on Easter. This took place during their educational and cultural visit to Assiut University to learn the Arabic language. They were received by Youhanna, the Bishop of Assiut, and its surroundings.
1- 75% of the university's research has been published internationally in Q1 and Q2 journals.
2- Researchers from Assiut University received funding for their research projects totaling $550,000 in 2023.
3- 66% of the internationally published research was conducted through international collaboration between researchers from Assiut University and researchers from international universities.

The seminar featured Dr. Bruno Crépon, Scientific Advisor of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Lab at the American University in Cairo, and Dr. Abdelrahman Nagy, Director of Learning and Strategies at the Sawiris Foundation. This falls within the university's role in serving and developing the community, as well as its close and effective collaboration with civil society organizations to achieve sustainable development goals.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy warmly welcomed the university's guests, expressing his sincere gratitude to them, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation between the university, represented by the Civil Society Support Center, and civil society institutions. This cooperation extends to areas such as poverty alleviation, providing training and employment opportunities for youth, developing students' skills, and preparing them for the job market.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, the President of Assiut University, commended the efforts of the university students and their great responsiveness to participate in beautification and greening activities on the university and university city streets. This comes as part of the university's commitment to promoting a culture of green transformation and sustainability.

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the President of Assiut University, Assiut University witnessed the coordination meeting for the implementation of the presidential initiative 'The Golden 1000 Days for the Development of the Egyptian Family', launched by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, under the umbrella of 100 million Health.

- Establishing of environmental specialties that serve the goals of sustainable development.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the President of Assiut University, announced the success of the Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry Department at Faculty of Pharmacy in obtaining funding for scientific equipment and laboratory supplies provided by the 'Instrumental Access' program affiliated with the Seeding Labs organization. The value of the equipment provided by the organization is estimated to range from $100,000 to $400,000.
Dr. El-Minshawy: Assiut University is keen on promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem emphasized the importance of planting fruit trees and increasing green spaces within the university, directing the need to promote awareness of afforestation culture and encourage members of the university community to preserve natural resources and maximize their utilization, given their environmental and aesthetic benefits to society.

Today, Thursday, November 16th, Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, President of Assiut University, delivered a lecture about “The internationalization of universities in light of the national strategy for higher education,” in the training program specified to qualify professors applying for the position of “college dean”; which was organized by the University’s Faculty and Leadership Development Center from 14 to 16 November.
During his lecture, Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi presented the university’s vision that follows the footsteps of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2023, launched by Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; and it aims to improve the quality of higher education, scientific research and its applications in a way that serves the state’s vision and plans to achieve sustainable development.
Prof. Al-Minshawi’s lecture included four main axes: Assiut University and the Regional Alliance, the strategies of Assiut University, the achievements of Assiut University, and the initiatives of Assiut University. He presented the seven principles included in the National Strategy for Higher Education 2023, which are: integration, interdisciplinarity, communication, effective participation, sustainability, international reference, leadership and creativity.
Prof. Al-Minshawi concluded his lecture by confirming his full support for the internationalization of higher education experience to make its quality reaches international levels through establishing more branches of international universities in Egypt.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, announced the success of the "Assiut Journal of Agricultural Sciences," issued by the Faculty of Agriculture at the university, in achieving the accreditation standards of impact factors and citations for Arab scientific journals (ARCIF), in line with international standards.
The meeting discussed ways to develop and enhance scientific collaboration in the field of neurosurgery and clinical research in general.
The list included 23 faculty members from Assiut University across various disciplines, according to the annual report issued by Stanford University for the current year.
