Under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Assiut University adopts a distinguished set of study programs during the academic year 2025/2024, which targets a distinguished graduate capable of meeting the needs of the renewable labor market; locally, regionally, and internationally.

📌The Faculty of Arts at Assiut University presents the "Translation in French" program with the credit hours system; which aims to: support the local, regional and international labor market; with professional translators, at a high level of accuracy and efficiency in various fields, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Supervisor of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Khaled Salama, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Noha Rizk, Program Director.

📌Duration of study in the program: Four years including (8) semesters.

📌 Program Admission Requirements:

* New Egyptian students accepted at the Faculty of Arts, Assiut University who have a general secondary certificate or equivalent or are transferred from other faculties.

*foreign students are candidates for admission to the Faculty of Arts, Assiut University.

* The program is  Exempt from the French language entrance degree

📌The program qualifies graduates to work in many entities, which include: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic corps, the Language and Translation Centers, the media sector, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of International Cooperation, the General Authority for Information, the international embassies concerned with the French language, and the international joint companies between Egypt and French-speaking countries.
