  Assiut University discusses ways to increase cooperation with the Information Technology Institute in Assiut ITI to develop the skills of students and graduates in various academic disciplines

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, pointed to the importance of joint cooperation between the university and the Institute of Information Technology in Assiut; to develop the skills of students and graduates, in various academic disciplines; to keep pace with the needs of the local and international labor market, especially in the field of freelancing, stressing that training at the Institute represents a mutual benefit in the framework of integration between state institutions, and pointing to the keenness of the university administration to increase the volume of cooperation with the Institute, so that it trains a larger number of Assiut University students, in support of the state's efforts to develop the capabilities of young people in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence; to help them compete strongly in the labor market.

In this context, the University's Education and Student Affairs Council, chaired by Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, discussed with Engineer Ayman Ayad, Dean of the Institute of Information Technology, aspects of joint cooperation with Assiut University, and the Institute's centers, such as the Cloud Computing Center, and the training programs it offers, including: winter, summer, and field, in addition to participating with the university in a number of awareness seminars and employment forums.

Also, the members of the Education and Student Affairs Council were introduced to the Institute, and its many activities; as one of the promising institutions in the field of entrepreneurship, youth training, and providing the labor market with skilled human cadres in the fields of modern technology, and the Institute's efforts to combat unemployment, especially by encouraging trainees to be self-employed (Freelancing), the most important fields of self-employment, and the skills required for them, and the most famous self-employment platforms on which university graduates have achieved great successes, as the Institute helped them obtain work assignments for international customers; with a high financial compensation, and invited the members of the Council; to visit the Institute and inspect its various activities.
