Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, President of Assiut University, will launch tomorrow, Wednesday, the proceedings of the second forum of the Peoples Week, held under the title "People against Extremism and Terrorism" and extending from Wednesday 23 March 2022 until Monday 28 March 2022.

The President of Assiut University added that the forum is organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector within the framework of the university’s civilizing and enlightening role and its keenness on cultural contact with other peoples. The aim of this forum is to give the opportunity to the students to know other peoples and their customs, traditions and different civilizations.  Such forum contributes to shape the university student’s personality, opens his intellectual perceptions, enhances the values ​​of friendliness and spreading a culture of acceptance the other. The forum will be held under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
