Dr. Shehata Ghareeb Sholkamy, Assiut University Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, assured that Assiut University is the largest and oldest enlightening and educating structure in Upper Egypt. This makes the university keen on undertaking the intellectual and cultural role which includes reinforcement of such values regarding citizenship, belonging, equality, and freedom of thought and innovation among all students.
Dr. Sholkamy's speech was delivered during his participation in Assiut governorate's celebration of the Pope Twadrous visit to Virgin Mary's Monastery at Dronka Mount.
