The English Language program (FCEP)- Faculty of Commerce at Assiut University

Assiut University presents the "English Language" program (FCEP) for the academic year 2024/2025. Under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the University President, Assiut University presents several distinguished academic programs for the academic year 2024/2025 that align with the evolving needs of the job market in various fields.

The Faculty of Commerce at Assiut University presents the "English Language" program (FCEP), which is one of the distinguished programs aimed at preparing graduates who can compete in the job market in fields that require the use of the English language in financial, commercial, and administrative transactions. The program is supervised by Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Alaa Abdel Hafeez, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Taha Zakaria Abu Kareisha, Program Coordinator, and Prof. Jacqueline Alfie, Deputy Program Coordinator.

Students are accepted into the program based on the regulations set by the coordination office for university admissions each year, and the program also accepts students transferring from other relevant universities.

The program's duration is four years, consisting of 8 semesters, with 2 semesters per academic year. The study is based on lectures and practical lessons, and for the student to graduate, they must successfully pass the required courses according to the approved college curriculum, totaling 52 courses distributed over 8 semesters.

The program qualifies students to specialize in either Accounting or Business Administration in the fourth year, with coursework focused on their chosen specialization, better preparing them to work efficiently in various commercial fields in the contemporary job market.

Graduates of the program have the opportunity to work in several fields, including local and foreign banks, all local and foreign financial institutions, the stock exchange as financial analysts or brokers, insurance companies in marketing, sales, and consultancy, multinational corporations in manufacturing or service provision, as well as various accounting and administrative roles in governmental institutions and agencies.
