The President of Assiut University praises the celebration of the launch of the presidential initiative "Bidaya"

Prof. El-Minshawy: A package of development and awareness activities and programs organized by Assiut University as part of the "New Beginning; to Build the Human Being" initiative

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, recently witnessed the ceremony of launching the presidential initiative "A New Beginning; Human Development" in front of the Governorate's General Court, within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, to implement several programs, activities, and various services, covering all age groups, covering all governorates, and aimed at developing human capital and consolidating the Egyptian identity.

Assiut Governorate witnessed the activities of the launch of the presidential initiative "A new beginning; to build the human being", in the presence of Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, Dr. Mina Imad, Deputy Governor of Assiut, Mr. Islam Awad, Advisor to the Governor of Assiut for Media and Political Communication Affairs and the Official Spokesman for the Governorate, Accountant j Abu Aqeel, Assistant Secretary General of the Province, Major General Sayed Radwan, Assistant Commander of the Southern Military Crisis Region, and Brigadier General Hani Mohammed Al-Farouq, military adviser of Assiut Governorate, and with the participation of a group of undersecretaries of ministries, executive, popular and religious leaders, heads of centers, and neighborhoods in Assiut governorate.

Prof. El-Minshawy stressed that the presidential initiative "A New Beginning to Build the Human Being" is an important strategic step towards achieving the state plan for sustainable development and building an integrated society, reflecting the vision of the political leadership in achieving comprehensive progress for Egyptian society, through human development and strengthening its capabilities in all fields, as the cornerstone of achieving comprehensive development, and a key axis in the new republic.

The President of Assiut University explained that the activities of the initiative last for 100 days, pointing out that the initiative is one of the most important presidential initiatives launched by the President of the Republic, which embodies an integrated strategy whose first goal is: human development and includes several main axes such as: strengthening national security, building the Egyptian human being, and developing a competitive economy. It also includes a large number of initiatives in the fields of health, education, culture, sports, and providing job opportunities, in addition to; benefiting from state resources with justice and effectiveness, and improving the quality of life for the Egyptian citizen, appreciating the close and existing cooperation between government agencies, civil society, and the private sector, in implementing the objectives and axes of the initiative.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the presidential initiative "a new beginning; to build the human being" comes at the top of the priorities of Assiut University during this time, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, and to activate the objectives of the initiative to the fullest, pointing out that the university has an effective role and great participation in the initiative, based on its social and developmental role entrusted to it, and out of its belief in the state's orientations towards building the human being, socially, health, economically and politically.

In this context, Prof. Mahmoud Abdul Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, pointed out that the university has made an executive plan within the framework of its participation in the presidential initiative "A New Beginning; Human Development"; to provide a package of activities and various programs for all age groups, covering all areas in the governorate, which aims to develop individual and collective skills; which contributes to building a new generation aware of the importance of community values.

The university's programs include comprehensive caravans (medical, veterinary, agricultural guidance, and psychological guidance), lectures, interactive workshops, and the launch of comprehensive caravans, seminars, leagues, and a marathon, with the participation of various concerned agencies, government, and private entities, to achieve the desired goals of the initiative, foremost of which is the development of human capital, which is the real wealth of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
