Assiut University organized
the sixth scientific conference for faculty of Law from
31\3-1\4\2010 under the title "Law and Health". Prof. Hamad
Mustafa Azab, the reporter of the conference, stated that the
conference discussed throughout two days a number of basic
subjects such as "health in the lights of Islamic Law", "the
State's responsibility of health care", "the role of civil
society organizations in protecting health rights", "the lawful
sides of reproduction health", and the lawful sides of: planting
human organs and the medical artificial substitutions. The
participants included members of teaching staff in faculties of
Law, Islamic Law, Medicine, Pharmacology, and Nursing in both
the Egyptian and the Arabian Universities. Members of judicial
institutions and representatives of governmental as well as
non-governmental organizations working in the fields of human
rights and environmental issues also participated in the
conference.
